Lydecker | Diaz’s Appellate Practice Division regularly handles appeals in the various Florida District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Our Appellate Practice group provides a full range of service in state, federal, and administrative cases. The Firm handles numerous high-stakes appeals, issues of first impression, cases with industry-wide significance, and multi-party suits.
Taylor George is a Partner and trial counsel for the Tampa office, also working with the Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee offices.
Jason B. Trauth can handle a case from start to finish. He is well-versed in all phases of litigation, having handled numerous cases on behalf of his clients in every setting, from federal and state courts to AAA arbitrations and administrative hearings.
Mr. Sanchez Parraga is Of Counsel in the Lydecker Miami and New York offices. He counsels insurers on insurance coverage, claim adjustment, and contract interpretation on first-party property homeowners and commercial losses, bad faith litigation, fire/theft/fraud investigation, and windstorm coverage.
Ms. Maken has substantial experience in handling appellate matters. Over her career, she has authored hundreds of briefs filed in the Florida Supreme Court, Florida's District Courts of Appeal, the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Forrest Andrews is Board Certified in Appellate Practice by the Florida Bar and has experience handling all types of appellate proceedings, including extraordinary writs, in state and federal courts.
Jeremy Harris is a civil litigator with extensive trial and appellate court experience. Mr. Harris represents clients in all phases of large scale construction defect litigation cases.
Mrs. Diverio is partner at Lydeckder’s Miami office. Mrs. Diverio serves as coverage counsel for first and third party property claims, bad faith litigation, fire/theft/fraud investigation, and windstorm coverage and defense.
Mr. de Zayas’ experience includes debtor-creditor law, bankruptcy, insurance insolvency, construction litigation, employment litigation, and appeals.
