Lydecker Promotes Emanuel Galimidi to Partner
Lydecker has promoted Emanuel Galimidi to partner from Senior Associate. Mr. Galimidi focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, construction law, maritime law, real estate litigation, real estate transactions, title insurance law and workman’s compensation law.
In his professional career Mr. Galimidi has handled a wide array of both complex litigation and transactional matters. In addition to advising clients regarding domestic and foreign real estate transactions Mr. Galimidi has also successfully represented national corporate clients and private individuals in all phases of litigation before State, Federal Courts as well as city and county commissions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Galimidi represented a number of professional athletes in contract negotiations with various professional football leagues including the National Football League and the Canadian Football League. Mr. Galimidi is also a licensed Title Agent for the Attorneys’ Title Fund. Mr. Galimidi has also presented seminars on bad faith litigation, general maritime law, the Jones Act and other marine coverage issues for clients.
Mr. Galimidi is a member The Florida Bar International Law Section, Workers Compensation Law Section and the Young Lawyers Division. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association., the Ft. Lauderdale Mariner’s Club and the Federalist Society Miami. Mr. Galimidi also serves as a member of the Young Presidents Club of Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation.
He was recognized as a 2010 “Rising Star,” by Florida Super Lawyers. He is a member of the State Bar of Florida. Mr. Galimidi received his Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree from Florida State University, and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami.
