Lydecker Continues to Grow, Adds Seven New Attorneys

Lydecker has added seven new attorneys to their team, continuing the firm’s growth and adding to the service provided to clients. Together, partner Carla Barrow, along with Associates Peggy Fisher, Meredyth Cooper, Robin Richison, Mariano Corcilli, Jacob Even, and Stephanie Pidermann bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of practice areas.

Carla Barrow joins the firm as Partner with more than 20 years of experience in state and federal court practice, in private and public sectors. Her focus has primarily been on financial matters, representing banking institutions, government agencies, and corporate entities, among other parties. She is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida and has been certified as an anti-money laundering specialist. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Association. She has a law degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Loyola University.

Peggy Fisher joins the firm as an Associate with experience handling major elections cases in the community, including Bush vs. Gore. She has also served as Special Master for the City of Miami Beach, Miami Dade County Value Adjustment Board, and the City of North Miami Beach. She will focus on the practice areas of Employment, Municipal Law, Election Law, and Commercial Litigation. She obtained law degree from the University of Miami.

Robin Richison joins the firm as an Associate with 10 years of experience as Assistant Public Defender in the Office of the Miami Public Defender, dedicating time to the Felony, Juvenile Justice, and Domestic Violence Units. She will focus on General Civil Litigation, First Part Property Insurance Defense, and Bad Faith Litigation. She obtained her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Saint Peter’s College.

Mariano Corcilli joins the firm as an Associate with experience as a criminal prosecutor for the Palm Beach County Office of the State Attorney and as an active duty Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He will focus on Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Governmental Liability Litigation, and Complex Business Litigation. He obtained his law degree from American University Washington College of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida.

Jacob Even is joining the firm as an Associate with experience as an international tax consultant for a Big Four Accounting Firm. He will be focusing in Commercial Litigation, as well as Business and Financial matters. He is an expert in tax law, possessing a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in taxation from New York University. He graduated from the St. Thomas School of Law and has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

Meredyth Cooper is joining the firm as an Associate with experience in representing architects and engineers in professional negligence matters and serving as a Judicial Intern with the Superior Court for the District of Columbia handling family law matters. She will focus on Complex Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Insurance Insolvency, Creditor’s Rights, Professional Liability and Business Torts. She obtained her law degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Drew University.

Stephanie Pidermann joins the firm as an Associate with experience practicing complex commercial litigation at a boutique law firm and serving as a judicial extern in the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida. She will focus on Complex Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, General Liability Litigation, and Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Litigation. She obtained her law degree and a Bachelor of Science in Multinational Business Operation from Florida State University.
