Lydecker Announces 6 New Partners

Lydecker is pleased to announce that Kimare Dyer, Sheryl Natelson, Meredyth Cooper, Stephanie Pidermann, Alex Tirado-Luciano, and Michael Longo have been named partners in the firm. “These lawyers came up through the ranks. They brought value to the firm and advanced accordingly. We are proud of them and happy to welcome them to partnership,” said Carlos de Zayas, a Partner of the firm.

Kimare Dyer specializes in complex commercial litigation matters in the Miami office of Lydecker. She has significant experience in practicing family and matrimonial law and commercial litigation. She has also handled appellate practice having prepared briefs for the Third and Fourth District Court of Appeals and presented oral arguments before the Eleventh Circuit Court. Ms. Dyer received her Master of Arts in International Law and Politics from the University of Hull, her Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center, and her Bachelor of Science in International Politics from the University of the West Indies, with Honors.

Sheryl Natelson practices out of the Miami office and specializes in complex commercial litigation, directors and officers liability, business tort, intellectual property, insurance insolvency and bankruptcy law. Ms. Natelson has worked in the public and private sector and has successfully litigated and resolved matters in state and federal court. Her background includes serving as an intern law clerkship for the Honorable William M. Hoeveler, the United States Federal District Court, an intern congressional aide for the Honorable Edward J. Stack, U.S. House of Representatives, and an intern senatorial aide for the Honorable Jack H. Backman, Senior Senator of the Commonwealth of MA. Ms. Natelson received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, Dean’s List, and her Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Brandeis University, Magna Cum Laude and with Departmental Honors. She also was the recipient of the Solomon Grant. She is the chairperson of the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Hallandale Beach, Florida. She served as Executive Chair of Leadership Development and held other leadership positions on the board of Young Leadership Council, Greater Miami Jewish Federation. She is registered with FEMA as a member of the Certified Emergency Response Team (“CERT”), for the Hallandale Beach Fire Department.

Meredyth Cooper specializes in complex commercial and construction litigation matters with a concentration in contract disputes, insurance insolvency, creditor’s rights, business torts, professional liability, mechanic’s lien actions, and construction and design defects. She is based out of the Miami office of Lydecker. She has also represented architects and engineers in professional negligence matters. Her background includes a judicial internship with Magistrate Judge Carol A. Dalton with the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. Ms. Cooper received her Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law, Cum Laude, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Drew University, Magna Cum Laude and Dean’s List with Honors.

Stephanie Pidermann practices in the Miami office of Lydecker, and specializes in complex business litigation, including business torts and real estate litigation, government liability, and construction litigation. Ms. Pidermann has also been involved with administrative proceedings in the areas of labor and employment law. Ms. Pidermann received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University, and her Bachelor in Science degree in Multinational Business operations from Florida State University, Dean’s list.

Alex Tirado-Luciano specializes in general civil litigation with an emphasis in complex commercial litigation and is based in the Miami office of Lydecker. His practice areas include appellate advocacy cases involving unfair business practices and unfair competition, the representation of corporate clients in commercial matters, class action defense, trade secret misappropriation, hospitality and public accommodations law, toxic torts, and entertainment law. Mr. Tirado-Luciano received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Florida International University.

Michael Longo practices in the New York office of Lydecker, and specializes in general litigation, appellate practice, intellectual property, federal practice, entertainment and art law, insurance litigation, bar/tavern and restaurant liability, insurance coverage matters, bad faith and extra-contractual liability, directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, government liability, employment law, maritime and admiralty, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury protection claims, premises liability, workers’ compensation, personal injury, civil rights law, land use and zoning, and products liability. Mr. Longo received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, with honors, Dean’s List, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in film production, Dean’s list.
