Ms. Mastriano is a partner in Lydecker’s Syracuse, New York office. Ms. Mastriano has extensive experience handling all phases of complex civil litigation in both federal and state court, including managing multi-million dollar litigation from the initial stages of discovery to resolution. Ms. Mastriano has litigated a diverse caseload throughout her career, including complex multi-party litigation, general liability defense, bodily injury defense, construction defect litigation, New York State Labor Law, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and complex toxic tort litigation.
Ms. Mastriano has settled countless cases in high-stakes litigation. She is also an accomplished appellate attorney and a skilled writer particularly noted for her strategic use of pre-trial motions where she has enjoyed significant success in obtaining early case dismissals.
Ms. Mastriano has represented two of the largest worldwide pharmaceutical companies in complex mass tort litigation in nationwide multidistrict litigations and state court proceedings. Ms. Mastriano has also represented a Fortune 500 company in a constitutional challenge to the validity of a section of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
Ms. Mastriano graduated valedictorian from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she also received an M.S. in Environmental Science, summa cum laude. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from The George Washington University Law School with the distinction of graduating with honors and as a George Washington Scholar.
