Professional Experience

Jimmy Camilus is an Associate in the Firm’s Orlando office where he handles all aspects of general civil litigation matters.

Mr. Camilus earned his undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2017, where he was Vice President of the Black Student Union and involved in their Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Chapter.

He then earned his J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law in 2021. While completing his legal studies, Mr. Camilus worked as a law clerk, gaining valuable experience in complex civil litigation and complex business transactional matters. During this time, Mr. Camilus was also involved in their year long immigration clinic and frequently competed in their NFL Contract Negotiation Competition.

Upon graduation, Mr. Camilus began his legal career in the Orlando office of an AmLaw 200 firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida, focusing his practice primarily in the area of real estate and commercial finance. During this time, Mr. Camilus represented lenders nationwide in commercial real estate transactions, handling all aspects of closing on commercial loans.

Mr. Camilus has studied abroad in Spain and enjoys ice skating, horseback riding and spending time with loved ones during his down time
