Mia A. Hernandez, ESQ

Mia Hernandez is an Associate in Lydecker’s Jersey City, New Jersey office. Her practice focuses on General Liability, Insurance, Labor and Employment, and Professional Liability.

Following law school, Ms. Hernandez served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph G. Monaghan in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Special Civil Part. In this role, she drafted judicial orders, reviewed matters on appeal and provided recommendations to the court, and facilitated settlement conferences between litigants before trial. Her prior legal experience includes personal injury, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and the representation of minors.

Ms. Hernandez earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 2025. During law school, she represented unaccompanied minors petitioning the court for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and served as a law guardian for children in foster care through the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic.
