Victor C. Ng is Of Counsel in Lydecker’s California offices, representing employers in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department (“CRD”) and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). His practice focuses on guiding employers through day-to-day workplace issues while defending high-exposure litigation.
Victor partners with business owners, executives, and human resources professionals to address terminations, reductions in workforce, disability accommodations, wage and hour compliance, workplace investigations, handbook and policy development, and hiring practices, including Ban the Box compliance. He approaches counseling with a practical risk assessment framework designed to align legal strategy with operational realities.
As a litigator, Victor defends employers in complex wage and hour class and PAGA representative actions, as well as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims under FEHA and the ADA. He has represented employers in CRD and EEOC proceedings, including agency-initiated matters and EEOC class actions, and regularly manages matters from pre-litigation strategy through dispositive motion practice and resolution.
Victor has practiced at two national management-side law firms and represented clients across healthcare, hospitality, trucking, construction, manufacturing, retail, cannabis, education, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations. He also brings prior experience working with domestic and international insurers on complex privacy and cyber matters and high-exposure professional liability claims, providing him with additional insight into risk evaluation and litigation strategy. He previously second chaired a two-week jury trial resulting in a complete defense verdict.
