Professional Experience

Ms. Gonzalez Gallego is an Associate Attorney at Lydecker’s Miami office. She is an experienced insurance and commercial litigation attorney who concentrates her practice on first-party and third-party property coverage and related litigation. She counsels domestic and international insurers on coverage matters involving a wide range of property losses, including those arising from hurricanes, fires, construction-related defects, water intrusion, structural failures, and other catastrophic events.
Her practice includes evaluating coverage issues, analyzing policy language, conducting claim investigations, preparing coverage opinions, and developing litigation strategies in complex property claims. She has experience handling matters involving commercial and residential buildings, and regularly assists insurers in navigating coverage determinations, risk assessment, and dispute resolution. Her work as both coverage and litigation counsel also involves interpreting policy provisions, exclusions, and endorsements, coordinating with adjusters, experts, and consultants, and guiding clients through all phases of litigation and claims management.
Ms. Gonzalez Gallego frequently works alongside trial attorneys to develop and strengthen litigation strategies, helping preserve key issues for appeal and positioning cases for favorable outcomes. Her attention to detail and analytical approach allow her to anticipate potential challenges and develop effective solutions, ensuring that pleadings, motions, and briefs are thoroughly prepared and strategically presented.
Originally from Spain, Ms. Gonzalez Gallego earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Barcelona before pursuing her legal education in the United States. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University in 2023. During law school, she authored “Review of the Legal Framework for Refugees and Proposals for the Effective Protection of Human Rights in the Context of the Climate Emergency,” published in Volume 29 of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law. Ms. Gonzalez Gallego is admitted to practice law in Florida.
