Professional Experience

Karen M. Sullivan is a Partner in Lydecker’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Sullivan dedicated her practice for over 20 years to defending and managing high-stakes litigation in California and the western states, including appearing and arguing in most state and federal courts throughout California. Her litigation defense includes class actions, products liability, environmental (benzene, talc, diacetyl and silica), Prop 65, and food-dietary supplement litigation.

Throughout her career, she has successfully managed and represented companies and business (including Fortune 500 companies) by obtaining favorable rulings on complex dispositive and discovery motions (including the granting of numerous demurrers, discovery motions, and motions for summary judgment) and securing dismissals through creative defense strategies. She has extensive experience with law and motion practice, including appellate work, and the handling of all phases of discovery, including taking lead in 100s and 100s of depositions. She has established a thorough understanding of complex scientific and medical epidemiological defenses resulting in much success during motions, mediation and trial.

Ms. Sullivan is admitted in all the US District Courts and the Ninth & Tenth Circuit.
