Melodie Rivero


Professional Experience

Melodie Rivero is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Ms. Rivero’s practice involves all aspects of federal and state civil trial litigation with a primary focus in personal injury, government liability, and civil rights litigation.  Ms. Rivero also handles employment litigation matters, including FLSA and FMLA violations, and Title VII violations including discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment.


While completing her legal studies, Ms. Rivero competed nationally as a member of Florida International University College of Law Negotiation and Mediation Team, served as President for the student chapter for the Cuban American Bar Association, and interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office . Upon graduation, Ms. Rivero was awarded the Negotiation and Mediation Team Outstanding Advocacy Award and the Pro Bono Service Medallion.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rivero was an associate at an insurance defense firm practicing in the areas of premises liability, nursing home & assisted living, product liability, and automobile negligence.
