Raul Alvarez is a construction litigation attorney with Lydecker in Miami. He represents developers, contractors, designers, and manufacturers in a variety of contexts arising from the construction and use of real property. He graduated from the Honors College at Florida International University, where he was the Honors College Senator in Student Government, wrote for the student newspaper (The Beacon), and was a presidential student ambassador.
Raul graduated cum laude under the Business Law Certificate from the Florida State University College of Law in 2020. There, he was President of the Cuban American Bar Association, Managing Editor of the Florida State University Law Review, and a judicial intern at the Florida Supreme Court under Chief Justice Charles Canady.
Raul also interned for Judge John O’ Sullivan of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and was a summer associate at a large national firm that represented institutional lenders and was involved in complex business litigation.
