Paris T. Baker

Paris T. Baker is a St. Louis, Missouri native and an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Ms. Baker’s primary practice consist of first party property claims.

Ms. Baker received her undergraduate degree on an athletic scholarship from Armstrong State University, where she majored in Information Technology with a minor in Cyber Security. Prior to Armstrong, Ms. Baker received two Associate of Art degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from East Georgia State College. During her university studies, Ms. Baker played women’s collegiate basketball on both the NJCAA Division I and NCAA Division II level. She received many accolades including but not limited to, Dean’s List, Perseverance Award, Leadership Award, Dedication Award, and Bobcat Award for her work ethic and leadership skills.

Thereafter, Ms. Baker attended Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law on an academic scholarship. During law school, Ms. Baker received Dean’s List Honors, Book Award in Commercial Law, Paul C. Perkins Bar Association 2018 Future Leader Scholarship Award, Bluebook Competition receipient and was an Associate/Senior Editor for Law Review. During 2018-2019, in addition to interning at a top insurance defense firm and completing law school, she also coached varsity basketball at a national powerhouse Montverde Academy in Clermont, Florida. In 2020, Ms. Baker graduated at the top percentile of her class, receiving her Juris Doctorate with cum laude honors. Prior to joining Lydecker Diaz in 2021, Ms. Baker interned at a national defense firm where she gained valuable and practical experience in insurance defense and product liability claims. She also has practical experience in transactional matters, and first property claims.
