Mariam Matta is an Associate in the Lydecker New Jersey office. She focuses primarily on general litigation, complex commercial litigation, and premises liability.
Mariam joined Lydecker’s New Jersey office as an Associate in September of 2021. She earned her Juris Doctor at Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey in 2020 and her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2017. Mariam was admitted into the New Jersey State Bar in 2021.
Prior to joining the firm, Mariam clerked for the Honorable Vincent Le Blon in the Chancery Division in Middlesex County, New Jersey. In this capacity, Mariam drafted opinions on a variety of issues including restrictive covenants, commercial contractual disputes, and land-use agreements. As a law student, Mariam interned for the Honorable Michael Hammer in the U.S District Court for the District of New Jersey.
During law school, Mariam served as Managing Editor for the Rutgers Law Record Journal and worked with the Education and Health Law Clinic.
