Professional Experience

Luis Toribio is an Associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Mr. Toribio’s practice includes all aspects of federal and state civil litigation with a primary focus in labor and employment law, government liability, professional liability, commercial litigation, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Toribio’s Labor and Employment litigation experience includes representing private and public employers in all phases of employment litigation, from administrative hearings through trial on matters arising under Federal, State and local employment laws.

Mr. Toribio has extensive civil litigation experience. Prior to joining Lydecker, Mr. Toribio spent over four years at a large insurance company in New York City handling high-exposure employment practices liability claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation and civil rights matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Toribio was an Associate at a high-volume personal injury law firm for several years where he focused his practice on representing individuals who had been injured as a result of automobile accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents and wrongful death.
