Professional Experience

Gregory Johnson is an Associate in Lydecker’s Jersey City office. He is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York. He attended Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey where he graduated with a Certificate in Corporate and Business Law.

While attending law school, Mr. Johnson won the Sam Saiber Transactional Law Competition hosted by the Rutgers Law Center for Corporate Law and Governance. He interned for multiple judges, including Judge Francis B. Schultz in the Hudson County Superior Court and Judge Walter Koprowski, Jr. in the General Equity Division of Essex County Superior Court. Mr. Johnson also represented clients in the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic where he assisted clients in registering trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and advised clients on protecting their intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Johnson completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Rutgers Law Associates, an intensive one-year general practice program for recently admitted attorneys. There he provided a range of legal services to low and moderate-income New Jersey residents. During his fellowship, he represented clients in civil litigation, divorces, child custody/support matters, restraining orders, and criminal matters.
